Are you in the a COMMON QUITTER?

Have you reached all of your goals in business and networking?

Are you getting the type of prospects YOU want, or are you settling? Is your financial life as good as you fantasized it would be when you were starting out?

If you've got it handled - or even if you haven't but you're on the right track and you know you'll get there someday - great. Skip the rest of this article and check out my next articles. Now you would probably know that to be able to build your multimillion group, you need to BECOME A SPEAKER, A TRAINER and a LEADER right? Are you there yet?

Or is there some REASON why you will never have everything you want?

If you think there is, we have to talk.

In about 30 seconds, I will go through the most common reasons why people think they are limited in becoming a networker
  • "I'm too short"
  • "I'm too old"
  • "I'm not good-looking enough"
  • "I don't have enough money"
  • "I don't think this business is for me (after becoming frustrated)"
  • I don't have time

let's talk about what's REALLY going on - at least for 99% of the you who have these "reasons:"
You're protecting your ego.

Saying you're too short or too old or whatever comes from the same place as when a guy says, "I didn't want him/her in my group anyway," or "she's just a bitch" when he gets rejected by a prospect.

Your ego does not like it if there is something you want, something you should be able to do, and you aren't able to do it.

Last week I was playing mixed martial arts with some friends. I had a bad game and got my ass kicked. It pissed me off. I wanted to make those shots and grappling locks and I should be able to. Then we went for a beer afterwards and played some pool. I absolutely suck at pool, so it didn't bother me or affect my ego.

So the guy who convinces himself that "I didn't want him/her in my business anyway," after she rejected him, is redefining the situation. Whether or not he could have had the prospect, he didn't want her. No big deal, no damage to the ego.

That's shortsighted, of course, because this guy is denying himself the opportunity to improve - to actually be able to get what he wants instead of making excuses about it. If you admit that you wanted his prospect but didn't have the right technique, then you can fix the technique. And next time it will be your buddies who are trying to convince themselves that they wouldn't have wanted that "Great Entrepreneur Leader" anyway, before he/she signs up.

Saying you CAN'T get your prospect, instead of just that you DIDN'T WANT HIM/HER, is even more self-destructive.

Now you've given yourself permission to compromise yourself and permission to fail. Like I said, I'm really bad at pool. So I don't mind a bad game and I can take some pleasure in the occasional good shot. That's fine for a bar game I play maybe one a year. It's not fine for life.

You've only got one chance at this "life" thing, so for anything important - and financial success and relationships definitely count as important - you're not here to give up. Giving up is the easier choice for sure - Networking for Idiots is not an easy skill to develop. Being able to pick up leaders in your business wherever you go takes time and work.

But it's worth it.

"Alright Clark," I'm sure some people are saying, "that sounds very inspiring and all, but the fact is that I actually AM short/old/ugly/poor/whatever, what then?"

OF COURSE these things matter. I don't know where anyone got the idea that they don't, but they do.

But lots of things matter. A nice deep voice matters.

There are thousands of things you can do to improve your success with your networking business. You don't have to do them all. No man in history has ever done them all. You just have to do enough of them.

IDIOT Analyzes: What Do Manny Pacquiao and Great Network Marketers have in common?

The most popular filipino today is no doubt Manny Pacquiao, he is also among the wealthiest (that is, if he knows how to spend his money well). He is idolized, praised, endorsed and given much respect which is also similar to what great network marketers get.

Y'know what? Comparing them is so easy that I conclude the attitude you need to be successful in this business can be learned and applied at any field you want to excel yourself to. I'm not saying Manny has been a network marketer (although he was involved in a pyramid scam that has cost him more than 2 million pesos about 7 years ago), all I'm saying is that the things that make someone successful is global.

Similarly, MLM legend multimillionaire Tom 'Big Al' Schreiter is a highly respected network marketer. He is recognized as one of the most effective trainers and marketers of all time. He has sponsored multiple co-trainers who have become millionaires and who have referred to him as a legend.

Both are multimillionaires and both are well recognized in their fields.

So these are the characteristics MANNY PACQUIAO and Big-time Network Marketers like MLM legend TOM 'BIG AL' SCHREITER  have in common:
MLM legend Tom 'Big Al' Schreiter

Boxing Legend Manny Pacquiao

1. A great story to tell.

People already know the rags-to-riches of Pacquiao, everyone relates to him but not much is known about the life story of 'Big Al'. However, both have a humble background. They started with literally nothing and eventually one thing came up with another until they made their way to the top of their fields.

2. Great Work Ethic

Pacquiao can be a lot of things outside the ring. He is a family man, a congressman, a product endorser and a philanthropist.  However, whenever he trains for a fight everybody can feel the intensity as he trains 4 hours each day.

Schreiter runs a business that doesn't sleep. He dedicated himself full time into training and network marketing. His funny wit and seriousness during training is intense according to network marketers. However, he is a great guy to be around during his 'off' days.

3. Humility resonates

Pacquiao once told HBO: "I started with nothing, now i have something". That's why everyone loves him. He could have said 'everything' and no one would have argued but people love him because despite his achievements, he is humble and is always thanking God for the blessings he has received.

Schreiter, despite his popularity and demand, would never let his downlines bring out their wallets whenever he is around. He could be ordering them around and nobody would argue but he wouldn't. If you want to be trained, he'll train you. If you want your downlines trained, he'll train all of them.

4. Teachable

Pacquiao wouldn't be at his top today without the help of Freddie Roach's trainings and teachings. He is very open to changes in his game plan and he has great brotherly respect for his mentor.

Schreiter always emphasizes the importance of being trained by your upline sponsor. He explains that it was his uplines that made him one of the best trainors and mentors of mlm.

5. Working for others is a priority

You would always hear Pacquiao dedicate his fight to the Filipino people.
Schreiter would always say: "Fulfill the dreams of the person whom you sponsored- THEIR dreams not YOURS, because if their dreams are fulfilled then you wouldn't have a problem with your dream."

6. Influence

Both have the power to influence and lead. This is the trait that propelled the acceleration of these two to the top of their fields.

IDIOT's Guide: How one Little story can change your life

You know what real network marketing Idiot's do? They come up with stories. Now this is one of those damn stories:
Imagine you’re at work one day, and your boss comes to you and says,

Bad news, we’re going to have to fire you. Business is bad. And the economy stinks.”
You feel depressed. No more career. No more regular paychecks.
And then the boss says,
“You know what? If you were to work just one extra hour overtime every day for free, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, we’ll let you keep your job and you can continue collecting your same paycheck.”
Now, what would you do?
Well, most people would say,
“Well, I will work the extra hour of overtime just to keep my job. I know I will be working the extra hour for free, but it is important to keep my present job.”
And then the boss says,
“Well, I know it’s kind of bad news for you but there is some good news. If you work an hour of overtime, Monday through Friday for no pay, just one extra hour a day . . . at the end of two years, we’ll let you retire at full pay.”
All of a sudden, how do you feel?
You feel like saying,
“Wow! Excellent! What an opportunity! Just work one hour overtime for free, Monday through Friday, and two years from now . . . I retire at full pay!”
So what would happen?
You’re working overtime and six months later one of your friends says,
“Hey, why don’t you quit doing that? You’re working an hour overtime and not getting paid for it.”
You say to your friend,
“No way! I only have 18 more months to go and then I’m going to retire!”
A year from now, maybe your spouse says,
“You know what, dear? You’ve been working that free hour of overtime for the past 12 months. Why don’t you spend more time here at home instead of working that hour overtime?”
You say,
“No, no, no! Just one more year and I can retire at full pay.”
And you would be at work faithfully, Monday through Friday, working that overtime so you could retire.
And you would be excited about the opportunity.
Well, we have the same opportunity to retire with our network marketing business.
We ask people to spend one hour a day, Monday through Friday building a network marketing business. And all you have to do is talk to some people.
And you don’t have to worry too much about what you say or how good you are, because you know what? You’ll get better. The longer you do network marketing, the more you’ll learn.
So maybe after the first month you say,
“Gee, I really don’t know what to say.”
The second month you get a little better and say,
“Well, I know the name of the company is the Wonderful Company.”
The third month you get better at this and say,
“I think this is a neat business. You might want to look at it.”
And the fourth month you get better and better.
Just invest an hour a day. And at the end of two years you might be pleasantly surprised and say,
“You know what? I can replace my full-time income and retire for the rest of my life.”
So – would you take advantage of that opportunity?
If you are like most people, you will want to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. But, you won’t do it.
Here is why you won’t do it.
A little voice inside of your head is saying,
“But what if it doesn’t work? What if I waste an hour a day over those two years? What if I’m not good at this? I don’t know anyone who has retired in network marketing. I only know people who retired with a pension from a job. This might not be a sure thing.”
Yes, you’re going to have some doubt. You will have a belief problem. And that’s pretty natural.
So here is what we are going to do to help you with your belief.
To encourage you along the way, every so often we’re going to send you a check in the mail — just to keep your spirits up as you build your two-year business.
When you get these occasional checks, you will say,
“I know it works! I’ve got these checks to prove it.”
And that is why you want to start your business today.

IDIOTs would still think of it as a pyramid scheme

Most of the time people you talk to are Idiots thinking about pyramid scheme and the like.. just watch ^^

IDIOT's Guide on increasing Loyalty, Retention Rate

Alright let's face it. If you have already done network marketing you are going to relate with what I say. We know that in M-L-M, like any other business, most people aren't going to make it. Most people are going to leave. Most people are going to quit BEFORE they are successful. Most people don't commit themselves. Most people don't value spending time training themselves. Most people won't put in the time necessary to actually work their business.

After spending months of recruiting in my network marketing company and sponsoring hundreds of people I noticed that I was the only active player and the only person that was doing the works. My upline quit, my upline's upline quit and my upline upline's upline quit. Sure I was devastated at first but after studying the situation I understood the reason why and these are the common IDIOT reasons of quitting:
You can learn how to spot these greedy uplines
in one of my posts

1. There was a ton of greed and ego in the company
2. There was no upline support
3. There SEEMS to be a better company to join

If you ask me, everything was on the line for me to quit. However, a thought came to my head: All were reasons for the 'AVERAGE' person to quit.

Though I couldn't deny that my uplines were snobs and are ony thinking about how much money they can make (one of them has even manipulated the money of his group and left off with it), my upline support is fading and a new company has just emerged and has tempted me to join in. I stepped back and decided to think of these factors as an OPPORTUNITY.

I reversed those factors and make it work for me. In fact I was glad that there was a 'clearing' of these junkies that will pave way for me to move to the top. The market for MY prospects has dramatically increased!

It is about time to HELP and TRAIN my downlines and monopolize the market with my core group. If you train your downlines, your retention rate goes through the roof. Their loyalty goes to you and will follow you wherever company you will go.

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DOWNLINES will soon be posted. ^^

How to Inspire Your Team

Listening to this guy just nailed me out of words.

If he substituted the words:
Baseball team = Networkers
Yankees = You rival network or team

then he'd be a millionaire.

Goal Setting: The Proactive Approach to Network Marketing (Part 2)

Short Term Goals: The First Person You must Recruit is Yourself

Becoming a networker is just like any other desire you may have; you must define the desire before you can hope to realize it. Therefore, the first step toward becoming a networker is to establish a picture in your mind just what a millionaire networker "you"  would look like, sound like, feel like, and even smell like. In short, you need to determine just how a millionaire "you" would appear in your own mind.

As I've said before, the image you hold of yourself is the one that others around you are most likely to perceived. Thus, the focus of this short-term goal is really upon recruiting yourself. That's the first step in recruiting someone else. I remembered when I was trying to recruit someone without even understanding the company plan myself was like... ugh.

Your short-term goal, then, is to make a commitment to become the richest, philantrophist, alluring, most charismatic and influential that you possible can. Here's how to do it:

1. State your goal to yourself. Make it very basic: "I want to become a millionaire" or "I want to become a networker." Don't worry about concrete definitions of what that means; for now, it is important only that you acknowledge that you want to achieve something.

2. Write down your goal. You'd be surprised what a difference that will make in turning your future goal into a reality.

3. Decide on a period of time in which to reach your goal. But here's the trick: Make the time period short enough that you will have to actually work toward your goal, but make it long enough to be realistic (so you won't give up before you've even begun.)

A good rule of thumb for short-term goals is to allow yourself between 30 to 90 days. That way, you will see your goal as something you can realistically complete within the time allowed, yet there will be enought time pressure to get you moving, working toward making it happen.

4. Be sure to write the time frame down alongside the goal. Now it's official: You've made a commitment to yourself, so keep that commitment!

Long-Term Goals: Recruiting Who You Want

Once you're on the way to becoming the new you, it's time to begin focusing on your second, more long-term goal. You will commit, in the next 6 to 12 months-however long you think is reasonable-to recruiting the caliber of people you're interested in joining your business.

While this may seem like its own independent exercise, remember that this goal is closely related to your short-term goal of becoming a millionaire. For one thing, you will have little luck recruiting someone of you haven't honed your networking quotient. Conversely, you will want to enhance those qualities in yourself that will be desirable to the kind of people you are looking for.

A good fisherman learns what bait works best for each kind of fish he or she wishes to catch, and uses the bait most likely to attract the fish being sought. Granted, attracting a romantic partner isn't as rudimentary as catching fish, and recruiting should be much more than bait; but the basic principle is the same for both activities.

Here's how to create your long-term goals for recruiting people:

1. Form a general picture in your mind of the kinds of people you want to recruit. At this point, don't get too specific.
2. Sit down and write out a list of their characteristics these people and why you want them on your team.
3. Imagine a type of person who passes all your critical criteria. When you get a good picture of that type in your mind, expand your mental picture a little, and imagine what that person would be doing in his or her spare time.
4. Expand that mental picture a little more, and imagine where the person would be pursuing that favored activity. You now have a clearer picture in your mind of where to find these prospects.
Finally, write down your goal: For example, "Within the next 90 days, I am going to meet at least 20 prospects and going to sponsor at least 5. To accomplish this, I will do the following..." Once again, you've made a commitment to yourself, keep it up.

Goal Setting: The Proactive Approach to Network Marketing

I'm gonna talk about goal setting- deciding what you want and beginning the process of getting it. As some would believe in mystery and magic of networking, I do too- but also I am a firm believer in taking a proactive approach in all areas of life. In truth, goal setting is every bit as valid in your personal life as in business dealings.

Many have experienced network marketing and ended in failure, or perhaps just in disappointment. And why did this happen? More than likely it was because they set out blindly, with no idea of what they truly wanted and needed. They didn't have goals; they just let things happen.

IT'S YOUR LIFE

You might not have thought about it, but you have already begun the process of setting goals. After all, you decided you want to refer people, right? That, in and of itself, is a goal. What have you done to achieve this goal? Well,  you went to my blog , that's a nice first step. You're already on your way to becoming a networker.

In your decision to become a networker, what you have really decided to do is to re-create yourself, which is not nearly as daunting as it may sound at first. After all, I'm not talking about turning yourself into something you're not. That would only be destructive, it would be impossible. Instead, I am talking about becoming aware of and refining your dreams about yourself, and through a focused, proactive effort, bringing those dreams to life.

Nobody else can do it for you, and it is going to take some effort on your part. The result, however, wil be well worth it. You can and will transform yourself into the great networker you can be, and the people around you will most certainly idolize you. To paraphrase a line from a book I've read: "If you build it, they will come"

MAYBE They're Born with It... But Probably Not

If you have attended some business orientations, the people talking in front just seem to be naturally persuasive, funny and alluring- just the right type of people in this business. You wouldn't believe that many people with different background have become millionaires regardless of social or financial status. The person who was talking in front, if you ask him did not have those skills when he/she first started. He/She was trained, usually through trial and error and went through all the pains of a networker would have.

Let me give you an example of a very successful networker:

The point is that things that make them so alluring and persuasive are virtually all things that they have learned learned, as opposed to naturally inborn qualities.

And Now, Back to Reality: What About You?

The people who were so phenomenally rich in networking started off as ordinary people. Yet, by acquiring skills and knowledge, which they applied to their lives, they transformed themselves into objects of NEAR WORSHIP.

It isn't stretching the truth at all to tell you that YOU, too are capable of transforming into a great networker. It takes some work, and it definitely takes a real commitment, but you can do it. You simple have to...

> Realize that wherever you are right now is the perfect place to start
>Determine what you have to work with
>Compare what you are with what you would like to be
>Figure out the straightest path between the two

Idiot Strategy: Hyping

You are in a podium, sitting and intently listening on one of the boring presentations done by a MLM rep, busy studying whether their market could work in your area or not or whether you are a victim of a scam, there are a lot of things going on your head then suddenly at the back of a room you hear a scream YYYESSSS!!!! (TAMAA!!!!) everytime the speaker speaks about something. Those screams don’t sound natural and has a very ANNOYING bell in it. – they’re what we call the Hypers.
Just F***ing annoying...

Hypers are people who are already members of the company trying to act as non-members and agreeing to everything the speaker says. Their purpose is to hype the non-member to register in the business and probably to give confidence to the boring speaker so that he will be more boring.

Sometimes, the members are instructed to do 'pseudo-agreement' whenever the speakers say anything about anything just to entice their already beleaguered prospect. Trust me, you would normally see this in MLM companies that has a registration fee of more than PHP 2,000.00 ($45.00).

Hyping was a method done in pyramid scams long before MLM businesses came about. It was an effective method then until people realized these hypers are lying in front of their faces. Sadly, the method was transferred by unscrupulous individuals in Network Marketing. This is one of the reasons why Networking has a bad vibe.

My tip would be to shut the mouth of these hypers in your network if you have one as it gives a bad vibe in your presentation and you wouldn’t want to annoy your prospects or ‘their’ prospects.

Idiot Misconceptions about Network Marketing

These are the idiot misconceptions nay-sayers often reason out about network marketing and how I respond to them.

1. It’s a pyramiding scam

Pyramids are very easy to detect
Pyramiding is an illegal get-rich-quick scheme. The permits are fake, the products are fake and the people are fake. I’ll talk about how to determine a pyramid scam from a Network Marketing business in another topic. In fact due to the advent of the internet pyramid scams are already scarce.
It is true that many MLM businesses are using the Binary System which is why many people often mistake it as a pyramid scam. Solution: Don’t use a pyramid when explaining!

2. It doesn’t work

If it doesn't work for you then
try working here

If it doesn’t work, then I wouldn’t be writing stuff about it. There would be no companies and Multilevel Marketing or Network Marketing would have never evolved. MLM Companies would not be worth Millions, Hundred Millions or Billions of dollars if it doesn’t work. – as simple as that.

3. You sell your friends and family

Do not Recruit your family!
You DO NOT sell your friends or family. In fact I am against inviting them to your business. The reason is that there should be a line between personal life and business. Your friends and your family are a part of your personal life.

They are not to be a part of your business unless of course they volunteered.

4. You sell products door-to-door

Only employees go door2door
I have never sold products door-to-door. I never saw someone sell products this way. This is not how the business is done.

When I started I did make money selling products but not door-to-door but rather store-by-store. The income is big in selling products in stores since they buy in BULK.

5. You are required to attend meetings, functions, buy CD/DVDs, books

As what everyone says about this industry- YOU ARE THE BOSS. A boss is not required to do all those things. Do it only if you are serious in making money. Be careful in purchasing training materials though as most of them are overpriced and the company just be trying to squeeze the money out of you.

6. It will be saturated

Saturation never happens
This is the statement I hate. I just tell the dimwit saying this to me “It’s not saturated, you still haven’t joined”.

Most MLM companies have a system that will guarantee its stability even if it’s members reach to tens of thousands. A great example is the Unilevel point bonus which varies per company.

7. It is about numbers, numbers, numbers

It ain't quantity but QUALITY
Anyone who is in network marketing and putting emphasis on ‘quantity’ of downlines is guaranteed to FAIL. Networking is neither about numbers nor money. It is a relationship-driven business.

Why do MOST people FAIL in Network Marketing?

There are two most common Idiot reasons for failing in Network Marketing
Never aim to fail

Do you know what’s so good in this kind of industry? YOU HAVE NO BOSS. That means you can do whatever you want, there is no one to tell you to recruit, to attend meetings and trainings, to read books, to hear audios and watch tapes..

Do you know the bad thing in this industry?  Many people fail because of that SAME REASON stated above. That is the number one reason of your failure.

The second reason is due to Greed, and this one involves the representatives. I see this all the time and I see people fail all the time because of this. For amateur networkers, they think of themselves as bosses whenever they sponsor someone. It’s a good thing provided they be the boss in order for their downline to succeed. Otherwise, they lose the trust given to them by their downlines and the result would be a stagnant network.

Having a boss has its goods and bads
In every kind of business (and this includes Network Marketing), you cannot be successful if you do not work your ass off. Many people fail because they think Networking is a get-rich-quick scheme mistaking it for a pyramid scam (which is actually a get-rich-quick scheme). This is a legitimate business and just like any other legitimate businesses, there is no shortcut in achieving success.

How to recruit without LOSING FRIENDS and FAMILY in the process

Congratulations you sponsored 100 downlines! But with that comes hundreds of more people who are avoiding you and hiding whenever they see you in the corridors. Most of them are your friends and in worse cases, your family.

In your prospect’s mind: There is nothing worse than knowing your friendship will be tainted if you would not join your friend in his business.

Whenever an upline tells you to ‘recruit your family member first’ realize that is a grave MISTAKE. Why? It is your family who would be the first ones to discourage you in joining! painful… huh?

There is a line that separates personal life from business

Well the thing is, over 90% fail in network marketing and that includes you and you're family and friends. If that happens, WHO are they going to blame?

Another mistake done by amateur networkers is that they take their business personally. In fact they take it too personally that they bear a grudge to those who do not join them; this includes their friends and family.

There must be a line separating your personal life from your business life. Your attitude when dealing with friends and family should be: “Hey, I’m not trying to get you in this business because we’re friends but I just want you to check it out just in case you would also want the opportunity it presents”.

If a family member joins you, it must be voluntary. Ironically they should be the ones who are joining later because they are yet to see the result of your network before they join. My dad used to laugh at me and my networking business and even questioned the legality of what I am doing until I gave him a lot of money which finally kept him mum.

Idiot's Guide on how to recruit a prospect

Assemble the pieces of the puzzle to be able to make a deal!

Alright, so you have now joined a networking business and is now eager to ‘bawi bawi’ (get back) the money that you have worked hard for in days-months just to give to that company in a snap. You are eager to get that first recruit and get that money immediately right? If that is what your upline would tell you then he is WRONG.

In fact, if you are like me, you would try to determine its legality by inspecting if you would really get paid. It took me 2 weeks in my first  networking business before I got my first recruit and it took me a MONTH before I got paid due to the idiotic requirements of an ATM or the intricacies of a check. So don’t assume you get paid immediately.

Anyway, this is Idiot’s step-by-step procedure on how to recruit a prospect:

1. KNOW YOUR PURPOSE

This principle guides you in why you are working. Whether you joined in order to be financially independent, to buy a car, to buy a house, dog, underwear etc.

IT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT aspect in this guide as your purpose will reflect in all other things that you are going to do in this company. Whether you become a ‘heavy-hitter’ or a passive networker depends on the reason that you work for.

2. UNDERSTAND YOUR COMPANY

Know the history, products, marketing plan by heart. If you would put your shoes in your prospects mind, you surely wouldn’t want to join a person who doesn’t know what he’s talking about right?

Know the INS and OUTS of your company and determine its uniqueness to other networking companies.

3. ESTABLISH YOURSELF

Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that you are a leader. That is, of course, if your goal is to be the next millionaire or diamond or whatever high position that is. The point is that your prospect wouldn’t want to join someone who would not take them by the hand and guide them in this network.

4. TAKE YOUR TIME

Remember: WHAT you say is not as important as to HOW you say it.

As the old adage say “There is no shortcut to success”. A common LIE an upline will  tell you is that networking is EASY. In fact, it would take an average of 6 months for an untrained networker to sponsor ONE person. I even know someone who, after 1 year of joining and training in different functions, purchasing tapes and books, have not sponsored a SINGLE person.

A very common mistake among first time networkers is that they speak so fast as if they’re just waiting for the yes/no answer of the prospect at the end of their presentation – this commonly ends up in a NO.

Take your time in explaining so that you wouldn’t look needy. Speaking slowly but clearly would also give justice to the million dollar income generating company that you represent.

5.DEVELOP RELATIONSHIP

Relationship is the DECIDING FACTOR of the game. Remember, people would not join companies (even if it has the best products, marketing plan, lowest mark up fee etc.) rather they join PEOPLE.

So if there is a good relationship that you have developed with your prospect/s, then there is a high chance your prospect/s would say YES. Use the know-like-trust approach. This concept would be discussed in another topic.

6. GET HELP FROM YOUR WINGMAN

After selecting a good upline, it is important to get his help during the early stages of your game. One of the COMMON MISTAKES done by amateur networkers is that they let their pride get to them and try recruiting without any help- this leads to serious consequences.

Getting help is a no brainer technique as an upline should be able to answer the questions a prospect might be asking (esp. technical questions like “how do I make sure I get my money?” or “Is there a branch in this particular place?”).

7. LEAN FROM YOUR MISTAKES

I wouldn’t say get 100 NOs to get a YES because that’s just for real idiots.

I started using the trial and error method and I got a lot of disappointments during my first weeks as a networker. Now I have a 90% success rate. I do get NOs sometimes but I love it when I fail because I would know what area to improve on.

DO NOT BE AFRAID TO GET A “NO”. If you fail, remember that it is not YOU who failed but rather it is the APPROACH.
