Idiot’s top list of Networking/MLM Businesses in the Philippines, the highs and lows

So you are an aspiring networker aren’t you? I assume you are in the brink of joining a ‘once-in-a-lifetime business opportunity’ and have been given a presentation by marketing guys about their business that is labeled as the ‘best kind of business’ that exists.
Or you have been joining networking businesses but you haven’t been able to get that kind of money you wanted and are still in the process of finding the ‘right’ networking company for you.

If the above were your assumptions then I guarantee that YOU HAVE BEEN LIED TO. It hurts but yes.

Now let me give you my Idiot’s Critical Analysis of the list of Networking Businesses in the Philippines.

1.       Unlimited Network of Opportunities

Minimum Pay-in fee: PHP 7,300.00
Product worth upon membership: PHP 2,500 (34.2%)

Highs:
This company has one of the most number of members in the country and perhaps in every city that I have been in there is a branch or office of UNO.  In fact this is the first network marketing company that I have studied.
It also has been featured in various TV shows such as Umagang Kay Ganda and is the most advertised MLM in the country.
Lows:
As there are a lot of members, its members are an annoying bunch of people (No offense). Just look at how negative it was featured in GMA’s Imbestigador not so long ago!
Worse, the return product of 34.2% is a gross violation if it is to be marketed in the US. The attorney general in the US had a court ruling that AT LEAST 70% of the pay-in fee must be returned.

Idiot’s Analysis: With the surge of members and low immediate return of investment, you need to rethink about joining as you may just opt for bankruptcy.

 2.       Vera7 Group Consumers Cooperative

Minimum Pay-in Fee: PHP 770
Product worth upon membership: PHP 750 (97.4%)
Highs: This is the youngest networking business out there which has already produced 7 millionaires on its first year of business. It also has the lowest pay-in fee and the highest pairing bonus (270 or 35%) including the highest discount (40-50%) on all products. It is also one among the few with indirect referral bonus which is always a plus in networkers.
Lows: The safety net of this company gives a big frown to its members. Every third pair is not in cash but in product. It’s 1:2 and 1:3 pairing safety net is also a stumbleblock for aspiring millionaires in this business though this can be adjusted by purchasing multiple accounts.

Idiot’s Analysis: For starters, this is the best networking business to join due to it’s lowest risk. Even veteran networkers can take advantage of this low pay-in fee.

3.       Royale Business Club

Minimum Pay-in fee: PHP 12,888
Product worth upon membership: PHP 13,000 (more than 100%)

Highs: Joining this networking business and you get discounts on food franchises and discount coupons on METRO, LAFFLINE and PUNCHLINE which are mostly comedy bars. Food Franchises can also be bought with the membership fee deducted from it.
Lows: The franchises offered are accused by many as non-profitable as they are not popular and only created just for the value of uniqueness from other businesses.

Idiot’s Analysis: If you have moved heaven and earth trying to recruit a person with a pay in of less than PHP 5,000 then how much more comfortable are you trying to recruit a person with more than twice that price?

4. AMWAY

Minimum Pay-in fee: PHP 2,000
Product worth upon membership: PHP 1,000 product and another PHP 1,000 N21 Training Kit

Highs: Amway has stood the test of time as it started 1959. The Network 21, a company consisting of a group of ‘diamonds’ does it job by training the new members providing them CDs, pamphlets and the like. It’s retention increases due to the Network21 company.
Lows: The Network21 would make sure that AMWAY members will purchase products and make money out the networkers themselves. They would even tell that it takes ‘A YEAR’ of training before even trying to recruit. Obviously they are trying to sugarcoat the reason why networkers are not profiting as it takes ‘time’, a lot of it.

Idiot’s Analysis: AMWAY is the best company in terms of international and perhaps even in national support. However, to compete with members that has started since 1997 that it came to the Philippines is going to be a tough challenge. Better opt for a new company. This one is the network company that is good to start though because you get training. Once you get bored then move to another one and carry your downlines with you. Be prepared for their complex company plan.
---oh yeah one thing to remember in going to their functions: you would always hear the phrase ‘me and my wife’ obviously they were inspired by Louie Carillo… and his wife.
